Today I'm going to talk about Potatoes!


Apparently there are 375 different types of potatos!
Did you know that?

I sure didn't! I thought there were about 5 - Idaho, Russet, Red, Purple, and like Yellow or something like that.

What I do know though, is that there is a HUGE variety of potatos out there, other than the dirty little lumpy things you buy in huge bags at the market.

For example, the well known:

with all the toppings of course! ;)

or what a lot of the males in our lives are

haha, jk!

Okay well some of you may now be thinking "Damn, this girl really is pretty random.. O_o "

BUT, this post was inspired (.if that's what you can call it.) by something 'potato' related - just none of the above potatos...

Have you ever head of a Potato Bug???

I have a story to tell you all:

• Okay, so the other night I was watching a movie at my friend's house out in the garage (where they're always watching movies or playing video games) and it was pretty dark since the lights were off and all of a sudden I see something come out from under the couch [not the one I'm sitting on] and start crawiling across the carpet...
  
  In 2 seconds a bunch of things raced though my head:
  - OMG, what the heck is that? *stares*
  - Sh*t that's freakin' huge
  - Omg it's a mouse!
  - No, it's an 'effing cockroach
  - No wait it's too big
  - It is a mouse! O_O
  - Holly crap, it's just a huge bug!? o_O
  
  Finally after being in shock for a couple seconds I say out loud "What the hell is that!?!!??"
  
  My friend jumps up without hesitating to turn the lights on to see what it is, as I jump up on top of the couch just as fast. I'm freaking out at this point !!
  
  As soon as the lights turn on, the first thought that when through my head
  - Oh My Gosh, it's a freaking alien demon monster!
  
  NO lies you guys, it was HUGE!!!
  I swear, I'm not over exaggerating when I say that it was at least 4 inches long and 2 inches wide! The BIGGEST bug that I have ever seen in my life.
  I mean come on, think about how big it had to be if I'm thinking to myself that it was a mouse!!
  
  When the lights switched on and I saw it, I was almost in tears because I was just so freaked out and standing on the arm of the couch, trying to get as far from the bug as humanly possible - I would've been hanging upside down on the ceiling if I had Spiderman skills!
  
  Luckily my friend wasn't afraid of the bug and killed it without thinking twice.

According a bunch of websites that I've searched, they aren't supposed to get that big, but I'm thinking that the one we saw was on steriods or something, because it was huge.

Even another one of our friends was like "Yup that's a potato bug, but they're usually not that big"

So yeah, that's my story.

My first time seeing one of the most disgusting creatures on this earth!

Sorry if I grossed you out, I figured that I'd share this new, digustingly disturbing story with you. lol

When Life Throws You a Curve Ball...

I should be studying, but that's not going to happen, I just need to get a lot off of my chest.

I know not all of you know about Raymond- my (ex) Boyfriend, but there are a good number of you who do...

Well I thought I'd let you all know, Raymond & I broke up

It didn't just happen, it's been a while..

Before you all panic and think that I'm just a complete hot mess, laying around all depressed, I'm not. I can still smile and I have my head up. I won't deny the fact that I've gone though my fair share of tissues to wipe the tears [(from both my eyes and nose! LOL) see I still have my humor :) ] but I want you all to know that I'm okay.

And I know what a lot of you are thinking, "but you two looked so cute and perfect!"
...Well we weren't. We had our issues and conflicts & we just hit the point were we weren't able to compromise anymore.

• I couldn't make the compromises that he wanted me to, and vice versa.
  Plus, the whole long distance thing was just too much for him. He couldn't handle the fact that we didn't have a "normal" relationship where we got to see eachother whenever we wanted. -I can't blame him though

I have folders and folders of over 1,000 pictures on my laptop and I'm not too sure whether to keep them or delete them?
There are just so many memories that we shared together

& I'm not too sure where I'm going with this, but I just need to rant a bit at the moment:

In the end, it was for the best though. I mean it'll help us both concentrate on our own personal lives and the goals we're both trying to reach - his animation & my nursing career.

Surprisingly enough though, food (my main comfort in life) is not helping me now.
I've subsituted food for shopping! Retail therapy works wonders ladies! LOL though it does put a dent in my bank account >.<

I have writer's block now, haha.

Last Monday I finally had time in my super busy schedule to hit the mall! :D Yay!

I honestly think it was a well deserved shopping trip because seriously, I have been studying my butt off.

The first store I went to was Forever 21 & that was pretty much the only store I went to because I ended up spending way more $$ than I had initially planned to >__<>

I bought them because... I don't own any footwear besides flipflops and dress shoes (except for 1 pair). And with winter rolling around, I needed to have something too keep my toes warm when I walked to class. *Yes I wear them out, but I could care less what people think*

" I Got Inked ! "

Here's my real "I got inked" story...

• I was studying for a huge Anatomy exam the other night, and all of a sudden I noticed a blue pen mark on the back of my had. And then I noticed another and another!
  
  I thought to myself "How the heck do I get pen marks on the back of my hand?" O_o
  
  Then I decided to look on the inside of my hand... And to my surprise this is what I was greeted with, a big "Hello!"
  How in the world is this possible?
  It's not like I'm rubbing the pen tip all over my hand, or the back of it for the matter of fact.
  Made no sense to me...
  
  But there was something that confused me even more
  
  

  " Woah! Pen marks on my arm!?"
  
  How do I get pen marks on the inside of my hand, the outside of my hand, AND my arms?? O__o *confused*

My Favorite Duck!

Here at school there are a bunch of ducks and geese, but out of all of them, this one is my favorite!

No, you're not seeing things, the picture's not Photoshopped, and it wasn't just a bad hair day for Mr. Ducky.
Every since I spotted this duck last year, he's had this same exact fluffy ball of fethers sitting on its head!
LOL
I have no clue how this happened, or why it never goes away.
You'd think that the bundle of feathers would eventually shed and go back to normal.
Maybe it's a tumor?
Or just a nice fro!?
haha, whatever it is, I'm loving it!

"Emergy Post" Update

Gosh you guys, thank you so much for all of your concerns about my latest post.
I really think I just pushed my body too much & I might have been a bit dehydrated and needed food.

Since my latest post, I haven't had any episodes that have been as intense, but I have had some pretty bad dizzy spells & I know it's not that I'm not eating/drinking/sleeping enough because I've been getting plenty of all of that.

My current fear is that I have 'low blood sugar' problems, but the doctor (I saw at my school's health center) & I are hoping it's some type of viral problem causing the dizzy spells.

I am waiting for the results of bloodwork I did after fasting. Hopefully it'll say my sugar levels are normal.

Again, thanks for all of your concerns <3>

& the reasons for my absence is pretty much that I'm just too busy with school.

Just this past Friday, I spent 6 hours during Open Lab for my Anatomy class :) Busy, Busy, Busy.

I don't know when my next post will be (hopefully by next weekend), but the next time I blog, I'll show you all what my room looks like, I'm sure you'll like it ^__^

Emergency Post

I really NEVER planned on blogging today or any day soon to be honest - I've been too busy

The original plan was to...

1. go to my Sociology lecture
2. then work on my Chemistry Lab for 3 hours
3. take a break for a late lunch
4. run to the Post Office to mail out orders
5. return to the Science building to work on my Anatomy Lab for a few hours
   (I already have 6 hours of anatomy lab a week, but it's not enough & I need to spend several additional hours in the lab to study)

But now...
Idk what's wrong with me, but oh my I'm not feeling good.
Everytime I stand or walk or move around, I get super dizy and lightheaded. The whole room starts spinning & I feel like I'm going to fall over and passout.
And if I try to force myself to walk around (dumb idea by the way) I get grossly nauseous and then idk if it's because I panic or if I'm really just sick, but my heart rate skyrockets.

I'm really afraid to get out of bed now :(

The Health Center is already closed so that's not an option, but I'm sort of scared because I've never felt this way before. So I'm not going to move around until one of my roommates comes home just in case something happens to me.

Sounds sorta scary hun? =/


really isn't too much to talk about since this was such an unexpected post, so I'm just throwing in random stuffs.


I found time this weekend to work on a huge batch of charmsAren't the Swarovski flowers just super pretty!? These were the packages I was supposed to mail out today =/ Sorry ladies!

I suppose I should use this post to talk about something important though.

I really wanted to tell you all that this whole charm thing is really just a hobby.

I wanted to get that out there, because I'm not trying to run some business here, I really just love making my crafts ♥

I don't have time to ship out orders in just a few days. I'm sorry, but it'll take me up to a couple of weeks.

Let me give you all a break down of my weekly schedule

• 20 hours of Class
• 4o hours *minimum* Studying
• 56 hours Sleeping
• 24 hours Cooking, Eating, Showering

That's a totall of 140 hours of my day gone already

Leaving me with only 28 hours of my week left.

And you have to factor in things like... getting ready in the mornings, lounge time, running errands, blogging and making charms. PLUS extra hours on top of the 40 hours I'll spend studying since I have a really heave school load.
Oh && I was considering volunteering at a hospital too


Hopefully see that I'm pretty busy & understand why your orders take awhile and why I'm not blogging too much

TODAY Was... + Random Photos

Today at the hospital was SO hectic. Oh my gosh it was the busiest it's EVER been.

I really love working when it's busy because there's lots for me to do & I like being productive, but today was just so exhausting, I feel so run down...

I don't mean to brag or sound conceited but pretty much everyone who's in the ER has commented on & praised my hard work. I'm constantly getting very greatful thank you's & words of appreciation.

But in working so hard & being efficiant, I have set the bar pretty high for myself & there are many expectations of me. I've been at the hospital for more than two months now, so everyone knows what I'm capable of...

& So today since it was so busy, practically everyone (Sally charge RN, Susan triage nurse, Ted one of the clerks, Eddie the tech, Rio our supervisor, Christina & Rosa RNs) were asking me to do various tasks and it became so difficult because there's only one me, not 5.

AND I was there for 7 hours straight with no break or lunch.

I know that's sort of my fault because I should've taken a lunch break but it was just so busy I never felt that it was the right time.

But I think what made working today harder was that today the patients that came in were in worst shape than what I'm used to seeing. And maybe it's the fact that it's that time of the month for me, but I wanted to cry a few times today. I HATE hearing little children cry in pain & it broke my heart to see a patient's wife crying at his bedside as he laid unresponsive. (gosh I'm crying now)

*sigh*

Goodness, today was just a long day, but I still love what I do

Beach with the Girls :D (-picture heavy-)

I had so much fun

I went to the beach with girls that I used to play basketball with & a couple of them are practially like family.

I was on the team from 1st grade all the way through high school

I'm the only one still in my bathing suite because I was the only one who was used to it chilly beachy weather since I'm always at the beach with Raymond.
I thought the weather was great, but the other girls thought it was cold

After these pictures were taken a couple of other girls came

• One of them picked up In N Out for us
• We made a bonfire
• Ate smores
• & stayed until the beach closed

Then this is after we left

We were looking for a yogurt place, but never found it.

Sort of went on an mini adventure with them.
And we ended up at a Denny's right next to Knott's Berry Farm!! LOL

I have no clue how we ended up there, but we just kept driving & driving down Beach Blvd from Huntington beach. hahaha!

We loitered in the parking lot making plans to hang out again

So yes, this was one of many days spent at the beach <3>

I love living near the coast, I'm sure going to miss it when I leave for school :(

I've Been A Busy Bee (-picture heavy-)

The title of the post says it all - I've been quite busy.

Let me give you a break down of what I've been up to since last Friday


FRIDAY:

~ ran errands

~ volunteered at the hospital (& worked an extra hour over)

~ dinner with the whole family at Grandma's house

~ watched The Time Traveler's Wife - so good!!



SATURDAY:
~ went to Guppy House in Irvine w/ Raymond

I was surprised how much they give you, we couldn't finish!

w/ Mango, Strawberry, & ice cream
Coconut Butter Brick Toast
couldn't finish this either, lol - *yummy* though

~ walked around & shopped in the plaza

he made me trip into a wall & I scraped the heel *sadface* first time wearing them too :(

So I made him become my SLAVE!

HAHA! he had to give me a piggy back to the car

& I beat him too! (not really)
he got karate chopped in the face LOL

& I kicked him to the floor

~ we went shopping at the South Coast Plaza

Vacation Pictures (-picture heavy-)

I'm FINALLY back to blogging ! ^__^

Omg, I've missed so much while I've been gone.
I have LOTS of catching up to do.

Now, let me show you just some of the MANY pictures that were taking on my family's vacation to Mammoth, Ca [which is in the Inyo National Forest, not too far from Yosemite National Park].

This is what the condo we stayed at looked like.

There were 3 bed rooms (one in the loft), 3 bathrooms, 3 stories, living & dining area, kitchen, and balcony

We went hiking & at the top it was SUPER windy! Tracy and I were trying to shield ourselves behind a big bolder. lol

We actually started out level with the lake below, and just hiked out way up

This is the last day in Mammoth, we kept a total of 20 fish! Our allowed daily limit!

MIA Until The 11th + an Update

I will be out of town from the 4th - 11th. I'll be in Mammoth with my family :)

I'm really excited to go because it's been a few years since the last time we've gone & we used to go every year. It's nice to just get away. & we don't have to deal with hotels or anything because we stay in a condo.

There will be lots of fishing & hiking on our trip! ^__^ I know I don't seem like the "outdoorsey" type, but I can be. I really hope I catch a lot of fish!! :D

I went shopping again today

I tried VERY hard not to go too crazy & am proud to say that I kept the shopaholic in me undercontrol.
I only spent a fraction of what I'd usually spend while at the mall

But, I think this is going to be one of the last shopping trips for a while - I need to stop splurging & be wiser with my money

Omg, this top from Abercrombie and Fitch was originally $70 and I got it for less than $20! ^__^

I bought these heels because they make my legs look good, hahah! Plus they were pretty cheap and will go with just about any outfit

Okay, well I couldn't resist these. The sales lady was so convincing and I just couldn't pass them up.

They're super casual & I can wear them just about everyday if I really wanted to.

And they're really comfortable too :)

I bought these on the way back home at this local art store
I plan on painting with Raymond tomorrow - one's for me & one's for him

&& I picked these goodies up from Mitsuwa on the way home from the hospital Friday.
3 of the bags are gone already!

Q & A + Saturday

I usually try answer every one's individual questions on their blog, but there are a couple questions (or comments) that have come up more than once, that I'd like to answer in a post :)


Which hospital are you volunteering at?

• I'm at the San Gabriel Valley Medical Center in their Emergency Room.

How can you stand seeing & being around sick people all day?

• It's all part of the job.
  Of course it can be depressing and pretty hard to see people sick or in pain, but it's something I have to get used to if I want to become a nurse. I'll admit that I've wanted to tear up at times seeing certain people in really bad situations, but I can't just break down crying every time I see something I don't like.
  The joy that I'll get from helping people is far more rewarding than the down side to being a nurse.

Aren't you afraid of hurting someone?

• As a volunteer I'm not allowed to touch the patients (for liability reasons) so there's no way of hurting anyone

What exactly do you do as a volunteer in the Emergency Room?

• I'm mostly there to assist the nurses & do a bunch of different tasks...
  * take samples/cultures from the ER to the Lab
  * restock supplies
  * clean beds & change linens
  * take patients water, juice, or blankets
  * help assist to transfer patients from the ER to various parts of the hospital
  * answer the phones if the clerk is unavailable
  * be a second set of eyes for the nurses
  ... & just pretty much anything else that I can do to make things run a little bit faster/smoother

How can you afford to go on all your shopping sprees & buy so much makeup? I thought you didn't work.

• Correct, I do not currently have a job, and probably won't have one for awhile. Well I am able to afford everything because I have money saved away. I've actually been saving since I was 8 - yup, eight years old (& the funny thing is that I originally thought I was saving up for retirement since my Grandpa had been talking about retirement around the same time I started my savings account, haha)
  So a good portion of my Birthday, Christmas, Girl's Day, & Graduation $$ went into savings, along with my allowance.
  My parents do not at all support my spending habits and actually frown on majority of my purchases - especially my dad =/ oops!
  It really wasn't until this past year that I've gone a little shopping crazy, so I'm enjoying myself for the time being. But no worries, I know my limits & still have plenty saved away.

Why are you holding so many giveaways & sending "love packages" to people?

• As lame as it sounds & as much as you probably won't believe me, I do it because it makes me happy :)
  I really love knowing that I can make some one's day and put a smile on their face. I like making people happy! I guess you can say that I'm a people pleaser
  But either way, I pretty much just do it out of the kindness of my heart <3>Also, it's my way of showing my love and appreciation to all of my wonderful readers. You all are such amazing people ♥

MY Saturday!

I spent it with Raymond (the bf) & Tracy (my sister)

I went to the beach for the 3rd saturday in a row! :D
We went to Hermosa (which is actually better than Redondo Beach - the beach Raymond & I have been going to for the past two weeks) but Omg, the surf was REALLY rough. We didn't get to boogie board or go very far into the water - still had fun reguardless though.
We played volleyball, flew a kite, and lounged around.
Oh, and I need to tell you all about the "Parking Gods" :) But I'll save that for another post

After the beach we took showers at Raymond's & then headed out for dinner & had Ramen (again, for the 3rd saturday in a row! haha) The workers even know who we are now!

Then we went to Color Me Mine - if you don't know what it is, check out the website http://www.colormemine.com/ I'll show you all pictures next week after our pieces are finished (they need to be glazed & fired)

After Color Me Mine we went to watch Ice Age 3, I LOVED it, it was so funny

I had SO MUCH FUN this past saturday, it was one of the best weekends I've had all summer! ^__^

Omg, I've been waiting for this for the longest time ever - I now know that postage from Canada to the US take quite awhile, haha.

I've seriously been checking the mailbox constantly. & it did help that this week we've had a substitute mail carrier that's been coming later in the day then our normal mailman.

Reguarding MY Giveaway + an Update

Some of you have probably been wondering what the heck happened to my giveaway, huh?

I've realized that I sort of left thing up in the air and never announced a winner or anything

Well here's the deal...
My giveaway wasn't actually supposed to be a giveaway where I picked a winner...

You're probably wondering "WTF was the point?!" right about now.

I held my "giveaway" so that I could send a few love packages/cards out to my followers.
It was an easy way of getting people's address so that I could surprise them with a little something verses asking them directly.
This way it'd be a surprise if they got something and no one's expecting anything.
Because if I'd ask for your address out of no where, it'd be pretty obvious that a something would be coming your way.

mini Mall Trip

My mom, Tracy, & I made a really quick trip to the mall. We only shopped for like 2 hours :( Because we went to the mall after eating dinner & were on a mission to find a birthday gift for one of my grandma's. (...or well my mom was, Tracy & I made the most of the little time we had :D )

What I came back home with

-not bad for only 2 & a half hours -

**None of you guys know this, but I have really bad eczema on my legs. I scratch so much, because it itches like crazy (all the time), that I break the skin. I have tried everything to help my eczema including steroid creams, but nothing really seems to work very well.
I try to keep my skin as moisturized as possible & I find that the Body Shop's body butters, particularly Hemp & Shea, work the best for me.
Shea is a GREAT moisturizer & Hemp, besides moisturizing, helps heal my skin. I usually use Hemp before bed (because the smell isn't the best) & then the Shea all other times.
I go through tubs of these pretty fast because I just load globs of the butter onto my legs

Isn't that robot necklace just wayy cute ? & there was no way that I couldn't have bought the cell phone charms.
The pink one will be for me and Raymond will get the blue one :D
The two charms are also magnetized to each other
&& Raymond's already promised me that he'd wear his on his keychain! ^__^ hehehe

A Day At The Beach

Raymond & I went to the beach (for the second time ^_^) this past Saturday

Considering that it was a Saturday, the beach wasn't as crowded as I'd expect it to be.

Eki is SO generous - besides throwing in extra hair pieces, she also gave me an e.l.f bronzer & brush set! It was like she could read my mind or something because I've been debating whether or not to try e.l.f's bronzer.

Sea World Pictures (-pic heavy-)

I've finally found time to do a new post :)

Here's a recap of my day at Sea World with Raymond this past Wednesday


** I woke up bright & eary - 5:30am to be exact.
I drove over to Raymond's house (which is about 30-40 minutes away) & we were on the road before 8:00.
Surprisingly it only took us about an hour and a half to get to San Diego, we thought it'd take at least a couple hours with traffic, but it was a smooth drive.

Raymond touched the starfish & said the water was SUPER cold, so I didn't bother dunking my hands in the water

I love how pretty & colorful they are
Okay, so in my mind penguins are cute & cuddly, but the ones we saw sure weren't.
**Sorry Erynn, but penguins dropped down a few notches on my cuteness meter**

Look it's a beluga!
It reminded me of when I was little - does any of you remember Baby Beluga? There was a book & a song to go with it

We watched the 1:00 showing, so it was hot with the sun beaming down on us - I ended up getting a little sunburned

& OMG, look at this, a walrus escaped from it's area, and they had to block off different walk ways as they tried to coax it back to its exhibit

JK, this was one of the exiting paths from a Shamu Show - it wasn't crowded at all when we went.

Since Raymond & I got there so early, by early evening we were pretty much done seeing everything, the only thing left to do was wait around for different shows.

But instead of waiting around, we ended up heading to the beach ^__^

It was SO nice, and I loved every minute we were there since it was the first time all summer I've been to the beach

We just layed out on the sand
We didn't go into thewater since we didn't have bathing suits, also the water was pretty cold.

So yup, that's pretty much my Wednesday! I had so much fun! ^_^

Eye Candy

I thought I'd give you all some eye candy until my next post ...since I'm not too sure when that'll be.

I'm going to be busy for the next couple of days doing various things and going to various places, so I won't be updating for a bit.

4th of July

I just wanted to fill you in on on my July 4th :)

We had my grandparents over for lunch & watched Igor, it was a cute movie.

Then later in the day we headed over to my Aunt's house.
My sister went swimming with one of my cousins, while Raymond and I just sat outside the pool with another cousin and her boyfriend.

When it got dark we watched fireworks from the backyard - my aunt lives close enough to the local park, so we can see the firework show from her house. And then after that we did our own.

Out of all the cousins on my Dad's side, there are 4 sets of girls (2 each) and only one set of boys. lol

1. I've been dying for a puppy - specifically a chihuahua.  Not just any chihuahua though.  I want one with a large apple head, short muzzle, and long coat.  I've been eyeing dogs from this specific breeder for sometime (www.bluechisranch.com)  But I won't be getting one anytime soon, not for a few years at least.
2. We have a family dog already anyways right now, her name's Peanut  :)  I'll have to post pictures sometime.  We got her when I was 13 & Tracy was 8.
3. I have really BAD anxiety.  I get so anxious it's ridiculous.  I have to work on relaxation techniques and stuff like that to keep my anxiety under control.  
4. I am a TOTAL control freak.  I hate not having control over the things/situations around me.  Kind of like Kate, from "Jon & Kate Plus 8" how she needs to have things done a certain way, but I'm not as bad as her.  Thank God!  
5. When in social situations, I may seem to be somewhat outgoing and talkative, but deep down inside I have a fear that I am socially awkward.  I'm like secretly shy, but I just try really hard not to let it affect me socially.  lol
6. I am Obsessed with chapstick,  specifically ChapStick brand.  I use it ALL the time.  And I freak out when I don't have any on me.  I probably have at least 10 that are open at the moment in various places - my bathroom, bedroom, in different purses, on my desk, etc.  Idk why, but I always feel the need to keep applying even though I know it's probably not necessary.
7. I am SUPER self-conscious!  I think that I'm pretty good at hiding it.  But omg, there are so many things that I absolutely do not like about myself.  I'd probably fix just about every part of my body if I had the chance.  I won't get into specifics because I'd bore you all.  
8. I'm a shopaholic.    I know that everyone says they are, but I truly think I may be.  I cannot buy things in moderation at all, especially lately.  I am a total sucker for sales too.  Omg, if there's a sale I'll buy like a whole bunch of something even though I really don't need to or shouldn't.  I also buy things compulsively.  I need to hold on to all my receipts because I end up buying things that I won't/can't use and will realize it like a couple days/weeks later.  And my buying habits are getting worse, lately I've been wanting to buy things for everyone.  I'll see something and go "oh I think Raymond would like this" or "oOo, this reminds me of Jaclyn"  and then I'll WANT to buy it really bad and I'll debate about whether or not to get it for like the longest time.  
9. I have this weird thing where I can't have people touch the back of my neck.  I just totally freak out and sometimes I'll fall to the floor.  I have no clue why, but I just cannot be touched on the back of the neck.   I know, sounds totally weird, but just thinking about someone putting their hand on my neck gives me the creepies.  
10. I have the worst singing voice in the entire world, but I love to sing.  And I love to sing LOUD!  ahaha, thank goodness Raymond doesn't mind because oh boy does he get an ear full.  lol

&& I would've uploaded pictures into this post, but my laptop is acting up (idk why  O_o  but the Internet is REALLY slow and it keeps freezing on me) so I'm on my mom's computer at the moment

Nothing special, I just wash it & always use moisturizer

Nothing special there either, just shampoo and some conditioner every so often when I feel that my hair needs some extra moisture.
How do you pamper yourself?
I don't pamper myself with anything special. I don't do masks or any special treatments. I used to get my nails done, but I stopped doing that a little while ago. But I'd say that Raymond pampers me when he rubs/massages my feet :) Oh, it feels so good!
What is your beauty pet peeve?
A pet peeve that I have is when girls spray so much perfume that you start to choke when they walk by you! Perfume should be like a soft sent that people can smell when they get close enough, not a huge cloud of smelliness that you drag along everywhere you go suffocting people!!
What would your desert island must haves be?

My Quick Rant
I really don't mean to offend anyone, and I have no intentions of attacking anyone personally, so please don't get too upset at me; there's been something that has been bothering me for a little while now...
I feel like Blogger has sort of changed within the past month, and I'm kind of like ehhh... about it. There are just so many giveaways and contests - don't get me wrong, they great & we have some reallly generous people here on Blogger, but that's not the reason I'm sort of annoyed.
I feel like this whole blogging world has become a popularity contest or something. Like the more follower you get, the better your blog is. It seems to me that a lot of people are having contests/giveaways (especially giveaways) for the sole reason of getting more followers.
I'm sort of sick of seeing people's blogs just completely full of giveaways posts. I didn't start following your blog to see you advertise giveaways. Do something like what I did and make a seperate blog for giveaways & contest [(oh & FYI) I only follow blogs and enter giveaways when I sincerely am interested in the person's blog].
I'm sick of seeing my updated blog feed full of giveaway crap. I'm honestly ready to stop following some of your blogs becuase it seems like some people have forgotten how to blog or something.
I could understand if you're trying to advertise your blog if you sell something you make or maybe to advertise a company you have, but oh, that's sure not the case of most of you.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to get bashed for this post, but you guys can hate on me all you want, but Hey, this is my personal blog where I can post my personal thoughts, and feelings.

There's more to blogging than the number of followers you have!!

Oh, and to those of you who are thinking "Well didn't she just make an announcement that she's going to have a giveaway?" my giveaway is going to be different!!

Last Wednesday, as I had predicted in my "Retail Therapy" post, I went shopping with Tracy ( for all of you who don't know by now, she's my little sister )

I think the Santa Anita Mall is my favorite. It has practically every store that I shop at!

I just wanted to let you all know I realize that I haven't been around Blogger as much as I used to, but I have been SO busy working on Raymond's anniversary present. I'm working on something really special, and am calling it "my project" It must be done by this Sunday and I'm a little scared that I won't get it done.

But just because I'm not commenting on your posts like I used to, it doesn't mean I'm not reading what you guys all have to share. I read every single blog post. I just want you guys to know that.

Hmm, let’s see… I’m not even too sure where to start, so let me begin with high school
I was that girl who took honors/AP classes but was never very smart and struggled though all of her classes to get good grades. And I was the girl who did sports but was not at all naturally athletic and had to bust my ass to do well. LOL. Let me just way that I’ve had to try very hard for everything.
I ran cross country and track, and played basketball. As much as I really hated running, I was able to do pretty well. Haha.

I think this was like my sophomore year

& omg, I almost didn't have a prom date my senior year, I had to beg my, I call him my “bestest” friend, Ben to go with me. The reason I had to beg was because he hates going to dances and can’t dance.

• But as always, he came through for me :)
  The reason I call him my “bestest friend” is because in 8th grade (when I was afraid to walk home by myself because I was scared girls would beat me up – yup you read right, I was threatened by some girl that she’d find me while I was walking home) Ben would walk me home every day. Rain or shine. & he’d wait and walk with me when all of this friends would leave him because I walked too slow LOL Oh & he’d carry my stuff for me when I was too lazy to hold it myself.

So right after Prom (literally a few days after) I started dating Raymond . Whom I met through my girl friend Jaclyn [“hello Jaclyn!“ She reads my blog] and our relationship has just blossomed into something absolutely amazing ♥

This is where he asked me to be his girlfriend – on a cliff, overlooking the beach & water, as the sun was setting

The thing that totally sucked though, was that at the end of summer I would be moving to Turlock, CA (some place in like the middle of nowhere -__- ) for school. So pretty much after about only 4 months of being together, I would be 300+ miles away. But hey, it’s summer once again, so that means we pulled it off. The long distance relationship thing was pretty tough, it wasn’t easy, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. It’s made me cherish the time we can spend together even more.

And so why did I go to a school in the middle of nowhere so gosh darn away from home? IDK, at the time of making my decision it seemed to all make sense. The campus is super beautiful and there are small class sizes (only 20 in some classes) and they have a good nursing program. But it is located in farm land where you wake up some mornings and smell either onions or the smell of dairy farms -__- And there really isn’t too much around Turlock, especially compared to living in LA.
I’m too much of a city girl, I don’t belong in the country, so I plan on transferring back down south next fall when I get into a nursing program.
In the mean time, besides trying to do well for myself, I strive to make my Grandma proud. She’s like my hero & the greatest woman ever. I love her oh so much

Now for some random facts about me:

1. I ABSOLUTELY love anything cute – babies, puppies, kittens, I love ‘em all!
2. I will not & cannot eat bell peppers. I think they’re just completely disgusting and they make me gag.
3. I am a hopeless romantic
4. I’m the most sensitive person you’ll ever meet
5. I’m super emotional and I cry for everything: sad, happy, angry, frustrated, I’ll cry.
6. I watch UFC & MMA
7. If you haven’t noticed, PINK is my favorite color
8. I love cute heels and purses
9. Shopping ALWAYS makes me happy, which isn’t a good thing because I’m always spending $$
10. I have a hidden passion for art
11. I’m SUPER short, I’m not even 5 feet
12. I am accident prone, I always get hurt & am super clumsy
13. I am a total weirdo, and proud of it! :) It makes me unique
14. Sometimes I’m told I’m a little bit OCD, but that just adds to my personality
15. I love blogging, never in a million years did I think that I’d find such nice people from all over the world who would have the ability to brighten my day

Retail Therapy

I thought I'd share some of the stuff that I bought the past two times I went shopping with you all :)

The first shopping trip was right around finals & was in desperate need of some shopping therapy.

When I left to go to the mall I had no intentions of buying this much stuff.

I told Raymond I'd be "window shopping" which obviously didn't happen!
LOL

I needed some new shorts since I had gained weight >_<

I jumped from a size 12 at Abercrombie all the way to a size 16! That's two sizes bigger :( I was so upset when I got home because of these stupid shorts that I wasn't even happy that I went shopping in the first place... =/
But good news, since I've been home, I've lost some weight so I'm happy again :) lol. I'm pretty sure I was gaining weight because of stress. && at home I eat a lot healther than when I was at school

oOoh, & oh my gosh, these slippers are my FAVORITE in the whole world. They're from Payless & these are my 3rd pair of the exact same ones, haha. I just like how they're black & simple with just a little bit of sparkle to them.

I wear all the time. If I'm not wearing heels, I'm wearing these. lol

Victoria's Secret was having a sale on their sprays. They were only $15 compared to like $22+
I had no intentions of buying three - I tried to get just one, but the all smelled so pretty, I couldn't choose <3
The original price tag on this was $70, but I got it for... $26! ^__^
What a great deal - practically a steal
It was because the department store in the mall was closing so everything was priced really cheap

&& now for my FOREVER 21 purchases:

I got an extra one for my little sister

& OMG, I LOVE these! They're the greatest ever & I have pictures I need to post later on with me wearing them :)

The reason why I needed to buy these earrings was because I had made my DSK Jewelry order & knew that it'd match my necklaces perfectly! <3
These two tops were each under $4, so I mean how could I pass that up?

I bought this very LARGE purse to replace my old tote bag that I used to use to carry my school notebooks & folders. The old tote didn't fit much in it, but now that I've got this new oversized purse, I can fit everythin in it: books, notebooks, folders, & even my laptop! :)

So after my sister's 8th grade promotion [I'll post pictures soon] we went to the Americana in Glendale to eat lunch at The Cheesecake Factor and then we went shopping

I saw the nail stickers & had to stock up because I'm so in love with them. I wouldn't want to run out anytime soon.

My dad just shook his head at me when he saw me with these. He finds them unnecessary, haha. My papa also bought me these tops :)

He bought the stuff that both my sister and I wanted from Forever 21.

The purple top looks much better when I'm wearing it, it doesn't look to good on the floor. lol Oh, and I'm actually wearing the white tee right now

Omg, and look at these!
I've been eyeing them since forever and I finally bought them. The original price for these darlings were $70, but I only paid $35! That's half the price :D

Trans Design + e.l.f. Haul !

Okay, so I keep meaning to post these, but I never quite got around to actually getting to it so I'm just throwing these two hauls together.

I actually ordered these two like a month ago! lol
So I've had these orders for awhile as shipping was really quick.

Lets begin...

TRANS DESIGN haul:

everything was packed nice & safely

my FIRST set of China Glaze nailpolishes && I love them! ^__^

(maybe I'll do swatches for you all sometime)
Just some nail design stickers & I then a "blending mascara" It's supposed to help blend my real lashes with falsies - I thought I'd try it out since it was on sale

I also ordered a couple OPI nail polishes, but for some reason the picture disappeared from my computer O_o
So when I finally get to doing swatches I'll post the OPI polishes too.

E.L.F haul:

The box was like REALLY big.

I ordered stuff for Tracy, my little sister, so that she could give them away to her friends as the school year's ending and they'll all be going to different high schools.
That's why there's so many nail polishes & lipglosses

I took advantage of the "spend $20 get a $25 gift card" :) & I got a free Candy Shop Lip Tin!
Most of the stuff is my sister's but I also got a few things from e.l.f.'s Studio line for myself.

  OMG, I absolutely love the powder brush!! It has a flat top & works so well - it gives me great coverage!

&& Don't worry, I didn't fail at Project 10 Pan because I ordered these RIGHT before I started my ban on makeup purchases, hehe

Alright, so I had said that I would be blogging a lot more once I finished school, but obviously I haven't >_< SORRY!

I've just been SUPER busy... there's like SO much to do now that I'm back home.

I didn't realize how much work unpacking would be [..it's way harder than packing..]

My attempts to unpack (& I haven't even finished yet and I've been home since wednesday) has been quite a challenge. It's turned into a late "spring cleaning" and now my entire family is cleaning out their closets & we're getting rid of a bunch of stuff.

So besides unpacking I need to...

1. apply for volunteer work at this hospital
2. make a resume (i know, i know, i should already have one, but i don't..)
3. apply for a job - medically related
4. try to get into summer school (darn California's budget cuts!)
5. take care of the speeding ticket that I got
6. go to traffic school (-__-)
7. work on my anniversary gift for Raymond
8. & just take care of all of the other things that need to get done around here
9. oh yeah, and I also need to continue blogging!

Gah, there's just so much to do >_<

School is finally over, and I couldn't be happier and more reveived!


I just finished my last final & I studied like crazy for it, and I hope it pays off. I know I won't do as well in Physiology as my other classes (omg, my instructor is insane - she's so tough) but I'm hoping my grade won't be terrible

& this is what my wall looked like...

all of this is for one class: Physiology

I actually think that this is a pretty good way to study though :)

The title of the post says it all.
I'm not too sure when I'll be able to make another post just because I've been and will continue to be busy for like the next week.

With school coming to an end things have been quite hectic.

I have one more final to go (that'll be on Tuesday) and it's my biggest one yet. I need to do well *fingers crossed*

But besides studying my brains out, I also need to pack all of my stuff, ugh! @_@ & it's not an easy job at all. Compared to everyone I know, I have like the most stuff to bring back home.

And it hasn't changed much because I just feel so overwhelmed by everything I need to pack.

I promise though, when I'm finally done with all of this, I'll be making a lot more updates! :)

100 Followers Contest? o_O

Yesterday I amazingly reached 100 followers!

I seriously can't belive it - it just seems so weird to me.

& you all are so sweet. Everyone genuinely seems like great people, and I love it

Campus Hatchlings

These were taken a couple weeks ago

& I just thought that these little ducklings were too precious, not to share pictures.

When I first saw them I thought that there were a bunch of little rats crawling through the grass because they're so tiny! haha

Here they are just scattered all around the pond.

They're just so gosh darn adorable ^__^

So my fear when I saw all of the baby ducks was that the mother would lose some of them, and sadly I was right...

She started out with 11 of them and now she currently only has 8 :(

I just can't believe how nice everyone is.
I never ever imagined that people from all around the world, who I don't really even know (besides the bits & pieces that come from your blogs), would be able to help me get through the day.

Oh, and by the way, I think I did pretty well on my Chem exam ^__^
Karen was right, the studying was all worth it and payed off. Especially when a LOT of my classmates felt that they failed their exam.

I just have to get through my presentation tomorrow (which I'm feeling confident about) & then just study, study, study for finals.


PS - I got my Cherry Culture haul in the mail today! :D
I wasn't even expecting it, hehe, so it was even more exciting when I got the box.

Stressed, Tired, Frustrated, Drained, Emotionally Distressed, and just completely fed up with everyone & everything around me. I'm so exhausted that I don't even have the energy to cry anymore. I want to go back home so bad!

Finals are hard enough to deal with, but when you add stupid people to the mix, it's just killer. The past couple of days have just completely taken all of the energy out of me *sigh*

So that's why there haven't been any new posts lately & there won't be anything new for a bit longer.

I'm just taking everything day by day...

I currently need to continue studying for a Chemistry exam I have tomorrow morning. Then right after that I need to make up a PowerPoint presentation for a group project, which is on Thursday morning - working with girls who have been calling me retarded, a bitch, a dumbass, and more explicit things. Ugh...

What Happened to My Blog?

Most of you guys don't know, but my blog started out as a place for me to keep in touch with my parents since I'm away from home now.

Then I had a few of my friends check the blog out...

But now I have way more than 2 followers and a bunch of wonderful people reading my blog.

& I've taken a turn in the makeup direction & it's probably driving my Dad crazy. haha, since I'm sure he still checks the blog out. =b

A Complete Rant

Ugh! I'm so gosh darn sick of people being self-centered and inconsiderate.

I don't understand how some people actually believe that the world revolves around them

They have a total lack of consideration for others, But yet they get all pissed off and crazy at you if anything in their little world goes wrong. WTH?

& these people are supposedly my friends??

Also, as I was packing my stuff yesterday (since the semester is almost over), I broke a nail. Like a third of the nail broke!

• I've been trying so hard to grow my nails out too.
  And now that I'm finally satisfied witht he way the look (because I'm so used to acrylics), they break!

And, I sliced my finger yesterday, too :'(

&& I think I might be getting sick :(

Hard Work Pays Off

Okay so I was totally stressing about this darn paper that I had to write for English and had so much trouble putting it together.

This was a big paper!
It required research, literary analysis, poetry analysis, explorations, self-created surveys, and creative writing.
We had the entire semester to work on it, I waited until the week before it was due to begin the actual writing, and I was having writer's block -___-
I had all of these ideas for the paper in my head, but then it all disappeared as I began to write

But then I worked super hard and even went to my instructor's office hours to talk to her about it.


Anyways, I turned it in, and Professor Wilson LOVED IT!

She told me that I had the best paper! ^___^ hehe!

& she wrote this next to my perfect score...

Raymond UPSed me my present!! I couldn't belive it. He's so sweet. & he wrapped my present so perfectly It's a Table Box Easel! This is like one of the most thoughtful gifts ever. I would've never guessed that he'd get me something like this ♥ I love how he's always encouraging me to get back into my art - he's always asking me to draw or paint. He even gave me his acrylic paints in hopes of me painting again. For sure, this summer I'll work on my art and put this amazing easel to use! & OMG, look at the card that he MADE me! I couldn't belive my eyes when I saw it~! He's just so talented ^__^ ahh, I love his home made cards!

Solo Road Trip

I haven't blogged in a while because I went home to surprise my Mommy for Mother's Day.

But that meant I had to go on 300+ mile roadtrip home by myself.


Drive Home:

& I got my first ticket! :( For speeding *sadface* I was going with the flow of traffic, too!

• I don't know what I'm going to do. Go to court? What happens at court? What do I say to the judge?

After the officer gave me the ticket, I completely broke down and had an anxiety attack (..i have really bad anxiety..) and was parked on the side of the freeway for awhile thinking I was going to pass out.

Then I decide to drive speed limit & almost get smashed between a semi-truck and a bus! I was so freaked out -___-

Drive to School:

OMG, cruise control was the BEST thing ever invented!
I've always been too scared to try using it, but I tested out the cruise control today & it make the drive SO much easier! ^__^

Oh my, but while I was driving there was an accident on the freeway. This car was totally crunched and someone was laying in the middle of the road with a bunch of people crowded around, attempting CPR =/ I hope the person was alright.


But yeah... that was how the drive went.

Being home was so nice, I can't wait for summer !
I miss my family so much being up here at school.

Anyways, I promise I'll update you all with more posts.

What the Heck!?

**Ranting**

So, I've been working on this assignment for my English class pretty much all afternoon in the housing office's computer lab.

And I needed to go grab my book from my room.
I figured that I'd be okay leaving my stuff next to the computer since there were plenty of free computers.

Well, when I get back...
There's a guy sitting on my computer!!! WTH?!?

There were 6 other empty computers!

It was VERY obvious that the computer was being used by someone.
There was a bright red folder and a stack of papers sitting next right next to/on top of the computer; a bunch of different windows, folders, and documents open; & a USB (with a blue light) sticking out of the computer!
>__< Grrr....

Me: *sigh* "nice..."
Him: "oh, uh... *looks around* I didn't know that someone was using this computer" *continues to browse the internet*
Me: "Well if you're not going to move, can you at least take out my USB for me?"

Then he yanks the USB out of the plug without "safely removing" it! @_@
I would've completely freaked out if my files were lost or damaged

Frick! Omg, I can't belive how dumb some people are~!!

It's here :) It came in the mail on Monday

(1) Studio Lip Prime & Plumper - $3

• The primer works pretty well & the plumper is so-so, not amazing, but it does plump. I think it's totally worth the $3!

(2) Studio Small Angled Brush - $3

• For $3 I think that this bursh is amazing! I've used it one time & all of the hairs stayed intacted. The only small downfall is that the bristles are a bit flimsy, but still: *thumbs up*

(3) Kabuki Face Brush - $5 [..free gift..]

• I haven't used it yet, but i've rubbed it against my cheek, and yikes! The quality of the brush is reflected through the price, you get what you pay for. The bristles are rough against my face & a quite a few hairs fell out - I probably won't ever use this.

(4) Oil Blotting Paper - $1

• Haven't tried these yet, but according to reviews they work.

(5) Nail Polish (Berry Pink) - $1

• Yet again, I haven't tried it out. But hey, it was only a dollar & the color looks really cute :) You can't really see it in the picture, but the nail polish is shimmery

(6) False Eyelashes (Natural Lash) - $1


(7) Brightening Eye Color (Nouveau Neutrals) - $1 [..free gift..]

• I don't like the shadows. There is hardly any color payoff and they're just so disappointing. It just ends up looking like a bunch of sparkly glitter after it's been blended. Ehh.. good this this was free

(8) Brightening Eyeliner (Gilded) - $1

• Ugh. So I've read reviews that it's really hard to apply & I'd have to agree. I figured that I could soften the pencil with a lighter (just heat it up a little but), but no luck! My eye hurts from trying to force some color onto my face. Save your dollar.

Jon & Kate Plus 8

Okay, so I can say that, hands down, I am (or used to be) one of the biggest Jon & Kate Plus Eight fans.

I absolutely loved watching the show.

I would watch the same episodes over & over again, never getting tired of them. I'd also watch for hours on end, during TLC's Jon and Kate Plus 8 marathons. I couldn't get enough of the Gosselins.

BUT, that's all changed after I saw this...

I can't belive it.

Though he denies any wrong doing
Affair or not - I don't find his behavior at all appropiate.

• Why's Jon drunk at a club at 2 in the morning while Kate's out of town?
• Why isn't he wearing his wedding band?
• Calling another woman "Babe," wtf?

I can't even watch the show anymore.

& I'm sure I'm not the only one - I have a feeling that Jon & Kate Plus 8 might lose some viewers because of this incident.

Playing Catch Up

Having not blogged in 3 days has left me so excited to update you all - there's so much to share.

I've been going crazy studying for this huge exam for my Physiology class.
And guess what? Class was cancled! -__-" ...ugh, I studied so much and I actually felt really prepared to take the exam.

(1) Cellulose Sponge Set - $6 - ideal aid when you require deep down cleansing of facial pores. Dampen the sponge, apply cleanser or scrub, then gently glide over face in a circular motion for best results.

• I really like these. Using these are so much better than scrubbing my face with harsh exfoliators.

(2) DuWop Prime Venom Sample - A matte finish plumping lip balm infused with the Lip Venom formula that also works as a lip primer

• This stuff really works! I was pretty sceptical about the plumper since I've used plenty of plumpers that don't show any results. But I will be buying the DuWop Prime Venom as soon as this sample is gone.

(3) Sephora Brand Lip Gloss Set (birthday freebie) - in Pink, Rosy Glow, & Bronzed Beauty

• I have no complaits about the gloss, it's not too sticky & I love the colors.

(4) Shiseido Mascara Base - $23 - A clear base coat for eyelashes that improves mascara application and wear, as it boosts volume and curl. Adds dramatic definition to the eyes.

• Maybe I'll do a review on this later, but as of now I can't say how well this stuff works, or if it even works at all.

(5) Shu Uemura Eyelash Adhesive - $8.50 - offers appropriate hold as well as easy removal. The formulation is suitable for contact lense wearers

• Just like the Shiseido Mascara Base, I have not yet tried it, but according to reviews, it's supposed to work well

Adorable Balls of Fluff

Look at how cute these baby geese are!!

I thought that that ducklings were adorable, but I really think that goslings (baby geese - i had to look this up) are even cuter! They're just so round & fluffy :)

These geese are about a month old now.
I know that they're not as cute as the goslings, but they're still pretty darn cute.

I suppose being able to capture these spectacle pictures are a pretty good perk to living in the middle of no where.

Up until this year, I've never seen duckling or goslings in person before.

the Anticipation is Killing Me

I keeping running to the mailbox with the high hopes of my cosmetic purchases, just to find it empty! >_<

I know for a fact that it's been delivered (according to the UPS Tracking Information), but the package is no where to be found - but I know exactly where it is....

It is more than likely sitting in the University mailroom at this very moment, waiting to be sorted.

It sucks that I already have to wait extra long to receive my mail - being that I live in the middle of like no where.

But it sucks even more that I need to wait even longer for the people in the mailroom to send it to the housing office -__-

I'm just like super impatient and the anticipation is killing me.

April's Makeup Purchases

This month I have gone a bit overboard on my makeup purchases... =/

• I shall not say how much I've spent since my parents and BF also read this blog & I don't want them to think I'm totally crazy for spending massive amounts of money on non-necessities.
  

On most of the items that I've bought there's usually always been some type of special whether it'd be a sale, discount, freebies, or free shipping. So I wasn't paying full price for everything.

Some of the stuff like MAC and a few Sephora products, I've bought at the stores themselves, but I've made a bunch of online purchases.

This is the first time I'm trying out and purchasing from ELF and Coastal Scents so I'm sort of excited and nervous all at the same time because I'm not 100% sure what to expect.

MAC Cosmetic Recycling Program

Okay, so I was totally aware of the fact that MAC had a "recycling program"

No, I'm not quite an A+ student


...though I totally wish I was.


The last Chem exam that I took didn't go as well as I'd want.

I was really disappointed when I saw the results of my exam because I felt like I should've done better.

Especially since I got 6 points knocked off of one work out problem!
& it's because I didn't use the same formula as my professor (i used the one from the book), so I didn't get some of the partial credit I could've.

Ugh... I was pretty bummed


BUT then I found out that the highest score out of the entire class of about 80 students was an 87% I wasn't too upset.

Because I got an 86%! :)


At first I wasn't totally thrilled, but then my Chem tutor said I was silly not to be excited that I just got the second highest score in the class

Erase Paste by Benefit

Okay so based on reviews I was super excited to use this stuff because people were swearing by it saying it was like a miracle concealer.

Well it's not - not for me at least.


I was disappointed for a few reasons.

1) I didn't like the texture - this product is really sticky

2) it was cakey and looked sort of dry on my face.

3) it didn't completely cover the dark circles under my eyes

4) and the blemishes on my face were still visible under the concealer (& I don't belive the blemishes on my face are that bad)


I'm not going to say that it didn't work at all, it's mostly just that I was really disappointed in this product, especially since I had such high hopes for the stuff.

& it wasn't worth it's price. Maybe if it wasn't as expensive, I wouldn't have been so critical.
$26 for 0.15 oz jar that didn't work very well for me =/ *thumbs down*

Thank goodness Sephora lets you return items that you are dissatisfied with.

Mud Seeping Between My Toes

The fire alarm went off the other night at 3:00am!

Well since it had been pretty hot, I wasn't sleeping with too much on.
So when Dulce (my suitemate) starting banging on my door to wake up, I was in a flurry to get some clothes on.

I put whatever I can on and Dulce starts running out the door - apparently the alarm had been going off for a good amount of time before she had woke me up. So of course I follow.

AND the next thing I knew I was standing in the mud with my flip flop completely covered by this nasty muck ! The mud began seeping between my toes & I started to freak out.

But I couldn't move because my flip flops were stuck!
Dulce had to help me because I wasn't about to leave one flip flop stuck in the mud and walk around with only my left one on.

So eventually I get my foot out and end up going back into my room to wash my feet off in the sink and grab another pair of flops to put on.

&& this is what I was stuck in!

Me + Chocolate = < /3

I'm completely heartbroken right now.

Me & Chocolate are just not meant to be :(

All my Easter chocolate melted in the car on my way up to school. It was completely uneatable unless I wanted to lick it off the bottom of a plastic baggie.

So when I went to the mall yesterday, I decided to pick up a pound of See's Candy chocloate!

But then this afternoon when I went to go eat one...

they were melted!! >_<

I left them on my TV thinking that they were 1) safe from being knocked over in all of the clutter on my desk, but most of all 2) out of reach from the heat of my desk lamp.

Well my supid-butt, didn't think that maybe the TV would emit heat & melt my chocolates!

Moulting, Shedding, Dead?

When I got back to school after Spring Break, the first thing I did when I walked through the door was check on the fishes....

& I couldn't find Mr. Crabs!

I started freaking out because I saw different parts of his empty shell scattered all over the bottom of the tank. A leg here, another one there, his claw, & even his carapace (the shell covering the body)!

I was so upset at the idea that Mr. Crabs died & then the other fishes picked at his dead body :(


But THEN... all of a sudden the next thing I knew - when I went to take another look - Mr. Crabs appeared!

I thought it was a miracle!


But then when I thought about it for a little while, and maybe a miracle didn't really happen...

Apparently crabs can shed their shell.
Who knew? Not me.

After doing some research though, and I found out, crabs don't shed.

Dogs shed. Crabs moult!

Delinquent Blogger!

Omg, it's been almost two weeks since my last post -__-

I'm ready to give up and just say "I'll blog when I blog," but I really don't like neglecting my page. Because then there's always SO much to blog about & then I hate playing catch up.

There were a few items that I didn't buy when I had gone on my mini shopping adventure & it was for two reasons.
